Skoll Global Threats Fund
As the Marketing and Communications Officer at the Skoll Global Threats Fund from 2015 to 2018, I had the privilege of advancing the philanthropy's mission. The $100 million fund addressed global threats by collaborating with policymakers, researchers, leaders, and activists worldwide, extending support to more than 207 organizations across 57 countries through strategic grants.
In this capacity, I used my communication skills to assist climate researchers, water security experts, and epidemiologists on the frontlines of global challenges. This experience provided valuable insights into navigating complex issues and fostering collaborations.
In 2018, the organization underwent a strategic transition, sunsetting its operations and facilitating the emergence of new independent entities to address ongoing threats. During this period, I managed communications and built the brand for the pandemics arm of the organization, leading to my subsequent role at Ending Pandemics.
